THE WORLD WONDER TAJ MAHAL IN MEMORY OF MUMTAZ MAHAL BUILT BY 
 Mughal emperor Shah Jahan .

 It is one of the most BEAUTY FULL  architectural creations of the world. 
completed in the 17th century,on the banks of the Yamuna River



When Mumtaz Mahal died, she was just 39 years old. Shahjahan, who was a passionate builder,

now decided to erect a memorial to his queen in white  marble that the world would never forget

site selected for the tomb was a garden by the Yamuna river,The site was also chosen because

it was located on a bend in the river, and so could be seen from Shahjahan’s personal palace in Agra Fort. Work on the taj began in 1633 and 20,000 workers laboured for 17 years to build it

The mosque on the left side from the garden and Mihman Khana on the right side create mirror-like symmetry. Mihman Khana was used as the guest house during the death anniversaries of Mumtaz Mahal by the visitors then as a banquet hall for the entertainments of Indian princes and British ranked-people during the late 18th and the 19th centuries.
